The NEW Feedo range of feeders, 40-7 through to 150-25
For many years the Feedo has been the leading feeder to mix and dispense many types of forage.
The Feedo models are top loaders. For loading in various stages using weighing equipment, this will give an excellent balanced quality of the mixture. That is because the continuously adjustable and hydraulically driven deck chain provides a steady supply of forage to the beaters. These two or three rollers are evenly mixing and spreading the forage across the side discharge conveyor, after which the forage is mixed loosely and dumped. The beaters are driven via the PTO of the tractor.
If the headroom or the width of the barn is causing a problem, a lower Feedo model can be supplied on request and the feeder comes in three standard width models.
Characteristics of the "standard” Feedo feeder wagon
- Choose from 9 different body volumes from 7 to 25 m³, and loading capacities from 4 to 14 tons.
- Feedo models 40 to 80 come standard with two distribution rollers; a third roller can be fitted on request, together with a 40 cm higher body for extra volume.
- Feedo models 100-20 to 150-25 come standard with three distribution rollers
- Ideal for mixing maize and grass
- Low fuel consumption thanks to the very low need for power and the short feeding time (no mixing time, feeding immediately after mixing)
- Very low depreciation and maintenance
- Hydraulically driven left and right side discharge conveyor
- Side discharge conveyor default 80 cm wide (NEW)
- Seamless side discharge conveyor (NEW)
- Front or rear mounted side discharge conveyor
- Better panel structure for an even more solid construction (NEW)
- Walls have been given a rock-hard powder coating varnish
- Better bearings of the distribution rollers for lower maintenance (NEW)
- Controlled from the tractor cabin
