From the beginning of slurry injection, Schuitemaker is one of the leading manufacturers of slurry injection equipment. Now it’s time to introduce the next generation of slurry injection equipment, the Schuitemaker Exacta range!
Models
The new injector range starts with 792cm working width (Exacta 800). Next model in the range is the Exacta 870 which is 72cm wider with a total working width of 864cm. The Exacta 940 is the widest model with a working width of 936cm.
Characteristic for all Exacta models is the smart design of the machine. Although the machine has a very big working width, it’s still is very compact and can be mounted very close the tanker. The weight of the machine (app. 2700kg for the Exacta 870) is as close to the tanker as possible, which gives a better weightbalance to the combination.
Unique HYDROCARE groundfollowing
As the injectors are getting wider and wider, it gets more and more important to ensure an equal pressure on the discs and injection system over the total working with. Schuitemaker therefore launches the new HYDROCARE system. This system ensures a perfect groundfollowing by putting hydraulic pressure on every element. Every single element is reacting individually on obstacles and different circumstances.
Maintenance
For the development of the new injector range, the Schuitemaker engineers talked a lot with contractors and farmers using slurry injector systems. It became very clear that machines like the Exacta are often heavily used in short period of time. This means maintenance-friendliness and reliability are very important in the design. Therefore, the Schuitemaker engineers have taken these points into very serious consideration while working out the new concept. For example the machine has only two pivoting points for folding and is standard equipped with an automatic greasing system. All coulterdiscs have an unique Schuitemaker nylon sealing, to avoid dirt in the bearings.
Road safety
For the highest possible roadsafety in transportposition, the Exacta is standard equipped with protection guards for the discs on the outside elements. Besides this safety, both arms of the machine are folding over 90 degrees to inside. This means that the highest point of transport is in the middle of the machine.
